In some ways it feels we’ve been on this church planting journey in Aguascalientes, Mexico for a long time. There have been moments of disappointment and excitement, failure and success, frustration and  perseverance. Yet, we also feel like the journey has just begun.

MAR. 2024

"Shine the light of Jesus" was the theme of the children's program that was brought to the small town of Ojo de Agua, Aguascalientes. A team of 13 people from Minnesota served alongside the very first evangelical church in this community of about 1,000 people.

NOV. 2023

The Fall is undeniably the season we miss most when we’re in Mexico. Carolina still makes a delicious pumpkin bread for us to enjoy, but we miss out on the leaves of maple trees transforming into beautiful reds and oranges.

SEP. 2023

September marks the end of three years from when we first arrived in the heart of Mexico in 2020. Looking back over the past three years we recognize that it has been a season of learning and planting.

MAY 2023

During the month of April Shawn had the opportunity to teach a class on Church Planting to the students attending the local Assemblies of God Bible Institute.

APR. 2023

Early this month we hosted an egg coloring event in our Family Center. As families came they had the opportunity to color eggs, watch a short video of the death and resurrection of Jesus, and make a craft that depicted the cross with the Bible verse from John 11:25 where Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life."
