The Sislo Family

Shawn grew up in Wisconsin while Carolina was born and raised in Mexico. They met on a short-term missions trip and were later married in 2009. After serving seven years on staff at a local church in Northern Wisconsin they began their missionary journey with Assemblies of God World Missions in 2017. 

Serving on the mission field, they’re primarily involved in church planting. They are most passionate about mentoring emerging pastors and leaders to see new churches established through effective disciple-making.

Shawn and Carolina have three children, Keily, Noah, and Daniel.
